Human-in-the-Loop

Approval workflows for sensitive operations. Escalation paths for edge cases. Kill switches when needed.

Not every agent action should be autonomous. CRM writes, financial transactions, data exports, external communications — these are operations where the cost of a mistake is high and human judgment adds real value. Human-in-the-Loop provides structured approval workflows that keep humans in control of the actions that matter, without slowing down the actions that don't.

Approval gates are configurable per tool, per action, and per user. A junior analyst might need approval for CRM writes while a senior account manager doesn't. A data export to an external system might always require sign-off regardless of who initiates it. Escalation paths handle edge cases — when an agent encounters something it can't resolve, it routes to the right human with full context rather than failing silently or making a bad guess.

Kill switches provide an immediate stop mechanism when an agent needs to halt. Whether triggered by a policy violation, an anomaly detection, or a human reviewer, kill switches terminate agent execution cleanly and log the reason. Every approval, escalation, and kill switch activation is recorded in the audit trail, creating a complete record of human oversight for compliance and review.
